Brandon McCarthy advancing following surgical treatment last

Brandon McCarthy, the A’s glass pitcher who was struck on the right side of their head having a batted golf ball during yesterday’s online game against the La Angels at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, underwent surgery yesterday in a San francisco bay area hospital.
